Sciatica
Radiating pain into one or both legs is commonly referred to as 'sciatica'.
This is a signal from your body that something is not working. There could be a disc lesion, nerve entrapment, muscle issues, or a biomechanics issue with the pelvis or spine.
Our chiropractors are skilled in determining what is causing the irritation to the sciatic nerve and wether we are able to help.
Chiropractic should always be considered prior to surgery. Research has shown that people with sciatica can often avoid surgery if they seek chiropractic care (grade 2 evidence - RCT).
